An industry leading company in the commercial glass partitioning market requires an Estimator to oversee pre contract pricing and estimating processes for varied projects, largely in the commercial fit out sector on a permanent basis, offering a competitive package and the potential to progress to a more senior management position within the company’s commercial team in the future.
The client is looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic individual who will be involved and invested in their various ongoing projects and the overall progress of the company in the long term.

Our client is a market leading, contractor based in the Leeds area delivering projects nationwide.
As a company, they deliver specialist partitioning and interior finishings contracts amongst other related areas.
They have worked on some of the most prestigious commercial projects in the region over their 20-year+ history.
Their turnover has increased year-on-year and have a large pipeline of work for the year ahead already.

About the Role
Prepare and ensure tender submissions are evaluated and submitted
Ensure the pre-construction process is followed
Support client engagement during the process
Engage manufacturers and suppliers
Assess the risk associated with key bids
Assist with developing the key bid deliverables including clarifications, design requirements, preliminary assessment.
Fully understand the client scope of works and how this may impact on the estimate.
Present financial overviews of bids allowing assessment of value engineering proposals and commercial amendments.

About the Candidate
Previous experience in estimating for specialist interior packages for large scale commercial projects
Flexible self-starter with ability to prioritise
Displays strong leadership skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills
PC literate
Commercially aware
