Humres Engineers are urgently seeking Security Service & Repair Engineer – High Quality Intruder Detection, Access Control and CCTV Surveillance Systems etc. for permanent position focused on work in East of England.

About the Role

  • Maintenance of security systems including intruder, CCTV & access control systems
  • Fault finding and repairs to security systems
  • To provide reliable, quality support to our customers at all times
  • To have a professional telephone and face to face manor
  • Assist customers and regional team with technical issues either on the phone or face to face
  • Routing service / fault finding
  • Have a flexible approach to working hours. Out of hours working will be required at times.
  • Provide assistance and training to other team members as required
  • Be included on the "on call rota"
  • Must design our systems to suit the customer, focusing on needs which are specific to each project and situation.

  • Technical knowledge of security systems
  • Have a systematic/logical approach to tasks & problems
  • Ensure all tasks are carried out quickly & efficiently
  • Be presentable in person and in vehicle and tools
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Must be required to go out on our call out rota for “out of hours” projects.
  • Good time management and communication skills - A must
  • Have a polite but assertive telephone manor
  • Good knowledge of London and the home counties postcodes
  • Good customer service skills
  • Friendly and “easy going relaxed manner” although committed and dedicated to complete the tasks required.
