Pre Construction Manager - Main Contracting

• An industry leading contractor in the construction market requires a Pre Construction Manager to oversee all Pre Construction activities for commercial and residential refurbishment projects across the UK.

• The client is looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic individual who will be involved and invested in their various ongoing projects and the overall progress of the company.

Our client is a market leading contractor with an office based in the Coventry area and capabilities of working across the UK. As a company, they deliver specialist refurbishments contracts amongst other related areas.

Their turnover has increased year-on-year and they have a large pipeline of work for the year ahead already.

About the Role

They are looking to recruit an ambitious Pre Construction Manager that has the desire to become a senior management figure in their commercial team.

• Responsible for the success for projects from initial tender  production and estimating through to planning and pre contract meetings.
• Ownership and accountability for multiple projects.
• Responsible for identifying project risks, opportunities, constraints and procurement process.
• Undertake broader commercial functions having responsibility for cost advice, benchmark costs ensuring that costs are managed across the projects.
• Lead the team of cost planners and pre-construction build and program planners.

About the Candidate

• You will have senior pre construction experience within a main contracting field.
• Comfortable with involvement for cost planning and driving performance across a team and business.
• Experience of dealing with multiple stakeholders and operating at a senior level is required.
