About the Role:

  • Working mainly in large residential blocks, commercial offices schools providing electrical maintenance, repairs and minor installation works as a mobile engineer dealing with all types of clients on a daily basis, so a high degree of customer facing skills will be required. The vast majority of works will be within plant rooms with all associated electrical equipment, hence a working knowledge of heating and ventilation systems is essential.
  • Routine electrical maintenance of lighting and power systems to include emergency light testing through to undertaking EICR’s as required.
  • Key to the role is supporting other trades within the company where electrical faults or problems have been identified, which will require good fault finding skills.
  • On occasions, assisting other trades in their roles as and when required.
  • The ability to provide accurate reporting, information for quotations including prices is essential, identify works or opportunities to improve electrical installations and energy efficiency to develop the electrical element of the company.
  • Company provides a 24/7/365 call out service, all engineers form part of this on a rotational basis and is a key element of the job.

About the Candidate:

  • Proven experience in a similar mobile electrical engineering company in a customer facing role.
  • Previous HVAC experience.
  • Current level 3 Electrical Maintenance / Engineering qualifications. (Minimum of 1 year remaining to re-sit).
  • Fantastic communication skills and excellent reporting.
  • Full current UK driving license
