A client of ours based in South London, is seeking a Mechanical Site Manager to join their busy work-force due to the significant and continuing expansion of their Mechanical department.

The range of their expertise consist of the design, installation and maintenance of both mechanical and electrical projects consisting of high-end commercial and residential works as well as industrial projects including hospitals and education with the values up to £50,000,000.

They currently operate in the South West region and the successful candidate must be willing to travel in and around London and nationwide.

Mechanical Trade background in Building Services essential, HND/HNC/ONC Qualification desired

Overall Purpose:

  • To organise and deliver engineering services projects.
  • Uphold and communicate the values and culture of the company.
  • Position the client as the Contractor of choice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of subcontractor packages
  • Ensuring permits to work are in place and up to date.
  • Coordination of install with schedule of works, electrical and other trades.
  • Takes offs, procurement of materials • H&S Management - updating, enforcing, and writing RAMS where needed.
  • Oversee testing, snagging, and witnessing in accordance with QA plan.
  • Inductions, safe starts, toolbox talks and weekly meetings.
  • Progress reporting and progress meetings Desired experience:
  • Plumbing/Pipefitting trade
  • SSSTS or SMSTS
  • 1st Aid
  • CSCS Gold Card
  • Experience on commercial fit out projects.
  • Track history of seeing projects through to completion.

Package: up to £60K (subject to experience) + car/car allowance.
