Project Manager (Electronic Security Systems)

£40,000 - £50,000+ a year (Inclusive of Bonuses) - Permanent

From excellent on-site management of installations to prompt returns of testing and O&M manuals, we specialise in the new build industry.


We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our expanding team.

In this role you will be tasked with overseeing a wide range of install projects throughout the Greater London and surrounding areas, managing installation engineers and liaising with contractors to ensure that work is completed on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have experience with managing electrical projects or similar in the past. Any previous experience within any of the following disciplines would be beneficial but not required:

  • Access control
  • Door Entry
  • CCTV
  • IRS
  • Fire Alarms

Must Have:

  • Full clean UK driver’s licence
  • Technical engineering background- any of the following: Electrical, Electronic, Security, BMS, CCTV, Data centres, IRS systems, Fire Alarms, AOV, Intruder alarms, Wi-Fi networks, Intercoms, Door Entry, Access Control
  • CSCS card and SMSTS
  • Onsite project management and/or team leader experience
  • Microsoft O365 suite knowledge (excel, word, outlook, Teams etc.)
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at once whilst managing customer expectations
  • A good understanding of Project Management and best practices
  • Good commercial understanding of budgetary control, variations and payment cycle ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to undertake site audits
  • Will be able to satisfy security clearance requirements, such as credit reference check, employment references and police check


  • Experience with CAD
  • working knowledge of security systems installation
  • Electronic/Electrical engineering degree
  • Knowledge of industry standards i.e. NSI, NACOSS, SSAIB, British Standards, CAI
  • Ability to ensure adherence to specifications and Employers Requirements
  • Has some experience of containment systems and electrical connectivity
  • A good end to end technical understanding of electronic security systems and interfaces
  • Understanding of networking solutions i.e. (IP addressing, subnets and VLANS).
  • A formal Project Management qualification (Prince2, PMP, APM etc.)
