Job Description
Recruiting for an enthusiastic & experienced commercial gas engineer to join a newly formed plumbing & heating division.
You will be the lead engineer and have the opportunity to grow and head up the division
You will need to have at least 5-years’ experience as a commercial gas engineer and be able to carry out planned, reactive, diagnosis and installation on mechanical systems such as gas systems, boilers, pumps, water systems and other mechanical services in public/government building, schools, colleges/universities & other commercial properties throughout London & the South East.
Key responsibilities
• To carry out inspections, diagnose faults, fit parts and carry out repairs.
• To undertake gas servicing, repairs and maintenance.
• To carry out other maintenance, repairs and remedial works as directed.
• To maintain a high standard of customer service for all internal and external facing activities
Requirement
• Knowledge and experience of Plumbing & Commercial Heating / Gas Engineering including
repairs, servicing, maintenance and installations working in Commercial premises.
• Gas Safe registered. Non-domestic essential
• NVQ 2/3 in relevant Mechanical discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Unvented water systems
• Current/Valid Commercial Gas Qualifications – COCN1 or CODNCO1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1,
ICPN1 TPCP1A
• Recognised Health & Safety training
• Ability to work well on own or as part of team
• Full driving licence
• Pass DBS / Police background checks for working in schools
• Be flexible
