An industry-leading distributor in the Janitorial market requires a Business Development Manager. Predominantly in the paper products and suppliers of cleaning and hygiene product sectors, this Business Development Manager will be looking after the London region, offering a good package and the potential to progress to a more senior position within the company.

About the Role

  • Responsibility for day to day generation of leads.
  • Responsibility for ensuring leads are followed up and delivered on time.
  • To liaise and maintain a good working relationship with Clients.
  • Carry out on-site sales. 
  • Present to all levels of management across the company.

About the Candidate

  • Proven track record in b2b sales of hygiene, janitorial, catering products and systems.
  • Commercially astute and must have experience within the hygiene / janitorial industry.
  • Personal charisma, ability to identify potential business opportunities, can set up appointments at a senior level with potential customers, develop opportunities combined with excellent presentation skills
  • Communication Skills - you will be confident and able to communicate and present solutions at all levels from owner-operated businesses to Board Level with the ability to negotiate and close sales.
  • Capable Business Development Manager with the will to win, who is tenacious especially when dealing with medium to long sales cycles.
  • Computer literate, organised, able to prioritise and deliver results.
