Role Outline

My client who are a specialist in Fire Detection, Fire Suppression, CCTV and Access Control are looking for a New Business Development Manager to help promote and generate New Sales within the business.

About My Client

My client is a specialist in the design, supply and commissioning of fire and security systems. My client is a member of the FIA with all staff having a high-end quality training start to their career my client is committed to delivering excellent service to all their clients and customers.

About the Role

  • Working with FM companies’ contractors and consultants in the local area to deliver targets.
  • Confidently hit targets of around £300k-£600k pa (£25k- £50k p/m) within mixed business areas.
  • Medium sized projects on a Supply & Commission basis, some Installation works and or a mix of the two within the local area and offer all disciplines including annual maintenance. All figures/orders are within the annual target.

 

About the Candidate

  • Be fully conversant with all the regulations of BS5839pt1 be able to design and prepare quotations validate supplier quotes on a technical and a design level and submit all proposals through to clients to secure orders.
  • Be able to generate new business opportunities themselves use existing avenues through to completion and achieve monthly targets and maintain healthy margins to grow our market position.
  • Self-motivated able to work on their own initiative to secure all types of business from end users, FM companies Contractors and Consultants within the local area/s.
