Package 

Basic Salary £25K to £30K

About the Role

  • Build a sales pipeline of new business opportunities that will ensure sales targets are met
  • Secure new business in the Manchester area to end-user organisations across all business sectors         
  • Develop opportunities from initial contact, presenting our services, negotiating and closing the sale
  • Ensuring contact is made with the decision-makers
  • Ability to identify opportunities within the existing customer base to maximise sales revenue
  • Other relevant assignments by Senior Management

About the Candidate

  • Minimum 3 years of proven sales success in the contract cleaning industry or FM services.
  • Possess an excellent knowledge of the entire sales cycle from initial lead finding through to tendering and closing the sale.
  • Capable Business Development Manager with the will to win, who is tenacious especially when dealing with medium to long sales cycles
  • Commercially astute, and must have experience in bidding and winning low, medium and high-value contracts
  • Excellent client engagement, with strong persuasion and communication skills able to communicate and present solutions at all levels from Owner-operated businesses to Board Level
  • Team player with strong presentation skills (to support bids)
  • Computer literate with strong organisational skills
  • Be a constant & effective target achiever and closer
  • Operational, technical and innovative mind to provide real customer solutions
  • Up to date with the industry, latest trends and best practices
