Works Manager – Civils

Brief Overview

One of our key clients is looking for Works Manager to support their civils projects in operational and technical aspects. The successful incumbent will be an integral member of the site-based team and will be responsible for delivering packages of work to HSEQ, programme and commercial targets. They will be heavily involved in quality management and technical support functions.


  • Basic Salary – £65k – £75k

About the Role:

  • Deliver the works safely
  • Understand project objectives
  • Develop, lead and mentor project teams
  • Develop client relationships
  • Monitor construction programme, identify and manage risks
  • Manage and control changes to scope
  • Monitor progress against cost plans
  • Any other reasonable requests as required by Management
  • It is expected that of your behaviours and day to day activities will be underpinned by the company core values 

About The Candidate:

  • CSCS
  • Computer literate with software programmes such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Team leader experience 
  • Ability to work well within a pressured environment
