Construction Bid Co-ordinator

Brief Overview:

One of our key clients in the civil space is looking for a Construction Bid Co-ordinator, to form part of their pre-construction team, to ensure that they offer competitive bids in a timely fashion to their clients.

Package:

About the Role:

  • As the Bid Co-ordinator you will be working across bids supporting three divisions of Civil Engineering, Multi Utilities and International Projects. Giving great variety in clients and locations. 
  • The bids are all time bound so you will be someone that has excellent organisational skills with great time management techniques ensuring you work collaboratively with the wider bid team, internal stakeholders and third parties to ensure bids are submitted  in full and on time. 
  • The role offers a great opportunity for somebody that already has experience working within a bid team, this could be within construction or perhaps another industry. The role will in time give the Bid Co-ordinator the opportunity to develop the role, create process and methods of working. 

About the Candidate:

  • High competency level in use of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, as a minimum).
  • GCSE or equivalent level English and Maths minimum.
  • Proficient in writing and proof-reading business documentation.
  • Experience or background in the coordination and preparation of Bids, tenders, and proposals preferably in the Construction or similar industry.
  • Good planning, time management skills and flexibility for planning and prioritising tasks. 
  • Diligent, exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
