Area Sales Manager

Location – Greater London Area (UK)

Salary – £50,000 – £55,000 per annum + Bonus

Our client currently has an opportunity for Façade Area Sales Manager to deliver regional strategic plans for both customer expansion and revenue growth in London/South East Region.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate Sales turnover in Façades in line with target/budget set for geographical regions.
  • Have a good awareness of and maintain / professionally manage commercial responsibilities alongside design responsibilities and credit requirements in tandem with each discipline.
  • Develop proactive working relationships with key transactional accounts within the London/South East Region.
  • Ensure that the goals and objectives of the company are exceeded.

General Duties:

  • In addition to the abovementioned project related specification a key target for you will be to deliver a minimum of two CPD presentations per calendar month.
  • Liaise on customer interface activities with Regional Sales Managers.
  • You will be expected to familiarise yourself with your respective territories’ sales performance, order intake and order bank through a focused specification and conversion-based strategy

About the Candidate

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • It is desirable that the person has a recognised construction-based accreditation.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills, and strong drive for results. Display strength of character and determination not to be distracted from achieving team goals.
  • Be aware of the requirement to work as part of a team. Adopt a flexible approach to workload whilst demonstrating a willingness to take on additional work.
  • Have an excellent working knowledge of the Façades product portfolio and should be able to demonstrate this to everyone from shop floor to senior management.
  • Proficient IT skills.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Be a team player.
  • Clearly and concisely express key issues at a level that suits the listener and confidently handle challenges or unexpected issues.
