The Job Headhunter Humres is a vertically driven consultancy that works within markets where there are more jobs than people looking for work. The role of a headhunter is to use their skills of communication, persuasion and influence to help candidates decide on whether it would be worth considering an alternative career path. There are many reasons why somebody would consider changing employers. These reasons could be as follows: • Better prospects • Increased job security • Shorter working day • Better development • Working nearer to home • Bigger challenge • Better environment • Increased package • And many other reasons (which we will teach you) The difference between an average, good and an excellent headhunter is their understanding of people, the way they articulate the opportunity and whether they can understand what would make it compelling for somebody to consider a change from their current circumstance based on facts. Humres are not the type of company that would advocate candidates moving for the sake of moving. A large part of the job would also be to build relationships with candidates within their vertical so that the candidates know where to go if they ever need advice or may want to refer people they know that may be unemployed or looking for a job. Essentially somebody that enjoys communication and gets along with people at all levels would excel at this role. Client Developer Humres is a vertically driven consultancy that works within markets where there are more jobs than people looking for work. The role of a client developer is to use their communication and persuasion skills to ensure that the right line managers within the right companies interview our candidates. Our database is comprehensively updated on a regular basis as to who these clients are. A full history of all communication is logged so that anybody can pick up from the last person. The clients are communicated with via telephone and email. In many of our sub-verticals we are a top 3 supplier and considered a specialist. This reputation has been gained through our meticulous approach to quality and customer service. Our attitude is that we only contact clients with candidates that can do the job and it is very rare that clients would not want to interview our candidates. The role would entail the following: • Contacting clients on a regular basis • Increasing strength of relationships • Writing vacancy briefs • Sending CV’s to clients • Managing interview process • Managing candidates • Negotiating offers of employment • Communicating with headhunters • Negotiating fees • General project Management • Client visits • Strategy contributions This role would suit somebody that has B2B experience and can build solid relationships with line managers and directors. This person would also be a solid planner.
