Our Process

At Humres, we have developed a unique way of working which allows us to deliver the right results for our clients, our candidates and our company.  All of our consultants are trained to work with the Humres process to ensure a consistent approach.

Assessment – the first step towards successful recruitment, we work with you to identify your needs, define the required skill set and experience, understand your organisation and internal relationships, and determine any additional characteristics of the role.

Specification – once we have gained a general understanding of your needs, we focus on the specifics of your vacancy to help shape our search efforts.  We prepare a written position specification, outline key responsibilities, summarise qualifications required and map out the criteria for success.

Research – once armed with a comprehensive tool kit of information, we pass your specification to relevant consultants.  Next, we enlist the skills of our research team who scour the Humres database for individuals, corporations and other sources to find the best candidates quickly and efficiently.

Identification – our consultants actively market your vacancy by making selective calls to industry contacts and prospective candidates to generate maximum interest.  Keeping you informed at every stage, you will receive regular progress reports to continually review the approach and make changes where required.

Evaluation – potentially suitable candidates are interviewed by our consultants and evaluated on the basis of experience and potential to fit in to your organisation and your working culture.

 

Presentation – after presenting you with confidential written reports on the candidates we feel best suit your needs, we will recommend up to three candidates who most closely fit your specification.

Interviews – our consultants will schedule a mutually convenient meeting between you and prospective candidates enabling you to assess their suitability for yourself.  Following your interview, we will contact each candidate for feedback and report back to you with their comments.

Completion – Bringing the process to a close, our consultants can assist with the structuring and negotiation of remuneration.  Once we have placed the perfect candidate, we will support his/her successful integration into your team for a smooth and speedy transition.
