And, whilst losing weight and leading a healthier lifestyle might lead the list of popular resolutions, many Brits told the survey that they wanted to find a new job in 2011.

The Gocompare.com research found that four in ten people make resolutions because they genuinely hope to change their behaviour. The poll also found that ?finding a new job? was one of our top five New Year?s Resolutions with 16 per cent of respondents ? around one in six ? saying that they planned to move job this year.
