More Opportunities for Jobs in Marketing by Gaining Qualifications
13 January 2010

This year could be a very important time for jobs in marketing and none more so than in the construction industry. With the hope the country will be heading out of recession very soon, construction companies will be working hard to promote their services and win new contracts.

So 2010 has the potential to be an exciting time to be working in a marketing team, and now is the time to think about taking a course to either get you started or improve your fortunes in the marketing industry. In fact the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) is urging people with jobs in marketing to undertake one of their courses in the New Year.

Many of these courses run earlier in the year so people do not have to wait for September to come around if they don?t want to. The director of education at CIM, Keith Fletcher said: ?We want to make it as uncomplicated as possible for marketers to continue their professional development.???

CIM offer over 120 marketing, sales and business courses across the country, and claim on their website that 95 percent of UK employers see their qualifications as the ones to attain. Courses can also be tailored to an organisation?s specific needs as well.

There is no doubt that if you are already working or looking for jobs in marketing, these courses are well worthwhile and are available in major cities such as London, Birmingham and Manchester. Gaining new qualifications count for a lot in any industry and that includes construction and, with no pun intended, will make you more marketable.
