Construction Project Manager Jobs are Coming Back
11 August 2010
Construction project manager jobs have been hard to come by in the last two years as businesses and individuals have suffered during the UK recession. Hopefully the bad times are behind us although we wait to see the effect of Government cuts in spending.
There is no doubt that the private sector will be hit pretty hard over the next few years but the UK Government does recognise the need for growth. Therefore, it is hoped that investment in transport links, buildings and sustainable energy sources will keep workers busy and offer up new construction project manager jobs.
The construction industry and indeed the UK Government will be looking to private investment in order to carry out projects and in turn boost job prospects. Government incentives to businesses will perhaps play a crucial part in whether we see this investment and a rise in construction project manager jobs.
The encouraging signs are already there though and a look at the new jobs being advertised by Humres would back that up. For example, the end of June has seen a good number of new job postings on this website for positions across different areas of the UK.
The new postings have seen requirements for estimators, BMS project managers and engineers, sales and marketing managers as well as many other construction related jobs in the UK. The signs are looking more positive for the industry and Humres is working hard to ensure new positions are posted on the website as soon as possible.
