Companies Planning Recruitment - Marketing Jobs Should be Top of the Shopping List
24 March 2010
With the UK economy still very fragile employment levels are low especially for young people, but now it is important for companies to restart a policy of recruitment. Marketing jobs in particular should be a key area as businesses look to assess their strategies and client base to carry them through difficult times.
Cutting costs is of course an inevitable result of an economic downturn and needless to say the construction industry has felt the full force of this. However, it is important for companies to follow the Boy Scout motto and be prepared.
The country gingerly stepped out of a long recessionary period and now companies need to be prepared for much needed growth in the sector. Being underprepared and either missing opportunities through poor marketing, or turning away business and missing project deadlines due to under staffing could be a fatal mistake.
To that extent there should be an air of some optimism in the country for job seekers that companies will set their sights back on recruitment. Marketing jobs advertised by recruitment agencies such as Humres, should and are starting to pick up as companies recognise the value of good advertising and PR.
Good marketing is about finding out the needs of clients and convincing them that you can meet those needs effectively and efficiently, and businesses will need to carry this out with effective staff recruitment. Marketing jobs within the construction industry should become more and more available as companies recognise this need and track down quality candidates.
