Carillion Secures Facilities Management Jobs With £200 Million Of New Contracts
The leading British facilities management company Carillion has secured hundreds of facilities management jobs by agreeing two lucrative new contracts worth a combined £204 million. The company will provide facilities management services for the UK’s biggest building society – the Nationwide – and to Virgin Media.
Three year facilities management contract with Nationwide
Carillion has agreed a three year deal with Nationwide Building Society to provide facilities management services for the company’s entire UK property portfolio.
Under the new contract which begins in April 2011, Carillion will also provide a total facilities management solution for the Society’s 800 plus high-street branches.
Virgin Media extend facilities management contract with Carillion
Virgin Media have also renewed their current agreement with Carillion, extending the partnership to at least mid-2013 and possibly to 2015.
Under the new contract, Carillion will continue to deliver hard and soft facilities management services for Virgin Media's UK national estate, including their headquarters in Hook.
Carillion and Virgin Media have been working together over the past six months to transform the provision of facilities management services, focusing on delivering a high-quality customer experience as well as cost savings.
John McDonough, Carillion Group Chief Executive, said: "We are delighted to have secured these new contracts with the Nationwide Building Society and Virgin Media. This reflects the strong relationship we have built with these customers, for whom we already provide extensive facilities management services.
“We look forward to strengthening these long-term partnerships under the new contracts."
