Calorex Accredited With BRE’s Microgeneration Certification
26 June 2008

Calorex Heat pumps have become the first company to be accredited with product certification under the BRE administered Microgeneration Certification Scheme, for its Heat Seeker Air-Source Heat Pump.

The certification scheme is an independent third party guarantee testifying that the product and installer have met rigorous manufacturing and installation standards. Certified products and services are listed on greenbooklive.com to provide free reference for end users and specifiers to identify products and services committed to greener environmental practices.

Calorex’s Heat Seeker Air-Source Heat Pumps have been tailor-made for the UK market with features such as small size, low maintenance and low sound level operation. They can also heat up domestic water up to 65 degrees without supplementary electricity and can produce water at 33 to 55 degrees for space heating.
