My Client is a leading M&E contractor. My clients group is one of the largest in Europe with a turnover of around £30 Billion and which employs over 16 000 people with over 200 offices in Europe.

They are currently recruiting for an estimator with a mechanical background.

They will invest in the person with excellent managerial training and opportunities for career progression. There is an attractive benefits package an excellent basic salary.

• The position will involve Estimation responsibility on projects from several hundred thousand pounds to several million pounds
• An advantage would be Experience tendering in all market sectors including education, health, and commercial sectors
• Responsible from tender onwards for all costing
• All aspects of Estimation administration with builders, engineers clients and consultants
• Is client facing and requires excellent presentation and communication skills
• You will have good report writing skills and be conversant with Microsoft word, excel and other packages

• Previous experience of working for an M&E contractor
• You will have a strong mechanical background
• You will have come from an engineering background with HND in building services or similar qualification and/or a strong knowledge of the M&E process with good site based experience
• An advantage would be experience with software Estimation, and other bespoke packages
• You will need to be professional and well presented
