A leading Scaffolding contractor, with a number of regional offices, is recruiting for an experienced temporary works engineer for their busy West Midlands office.
About the Client:
Our client is a leading scaffolding contractor who undertake prestigious projects nationwide and have built up an excellent reputation over a number of years.
About the Role:
Evaluate, design and cost complex scaffolding solutions
Working in a busy team with 2 senior engineers
Provide technical support and advice to architects and structural engineers
Giving technical support to sales and customers for all contracts
Using AutoCad to design complex scaffolding solutions
Undertake appropriate administration and reporting
Ensuring that all designs are produced to the right solution and are practical, safe and competitive
About the Candidate:
Ideally previous scaffolding design experience
Would consider someone from a formwork background
Strong education background with at least an HND
Able to design complex scaffolding solutions and overcome all associated problems
Experienced in AutoCad
Be able to prepare well written documents
Undertake all associated calculations
