A leading player within the Scaffolding industry requires a Technical Manager to join their growing team.


About the Client:
Our client is a market leader within the Scaffolding industry. As well as having their own in-house manufacturing facility they have the capability to satisfy a wide range of clients including commercial, healthcare, leisure and industrial. They are capable of carrying out multimillion pound contracts and pride themselves on quality workmanship and their ability to secure repeat business time and time again.


About the Role:
  • Support the Design team and monitor output
  • Manage the Design Project Management function within the Operations Department
  • Ensure laid down procedures and best practices are observed at all times
  • Develop new procedures to enhance the Design Project Management function
  • Liaise with Clients, Architects and Engineers throughout project life cycle



About the Candidate:
  • Minimum of ten years experience within a technical role
  • Proactive and committed attitude at all times
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Technically minded
  • Ability to portray expertise in the role
  • Excellent client facing skills
  • Have experience in Auto Cad
  • Must want to broaden their scope to include estimating (FULL TRAINING WILL BE GIVEN)
  • Must be able to understand the difference between a Profit and Loss
  • Some scaffolding design skills would be preferable but not essential
  • Will look at someone from a Civil or Structural engineer working for a design consultant in the general construction industry
