Great opportunity for a Sprinkler Design Engineer based in the Hertfordshire area
About the Client:
Our client is an independently owned Fire Engineering Company operating throughout the UK and Europe and has been established for over 20 years. They are involved in many aspects from original planning through to design, project management and on-time, on-spec delivery. A large part of their business comes from sprinkler systems. They are stable, well established and expanding consistently. They are currently looking to recruit a Sprinkler Design Engineer for their Hertfordshire branch.
About the Role:
Successful candidates will hold a minimum of 5 years experience from within a fire sprinkler design environment.
Good understanding of LPC/NFPA rules.
Responsible for the design and calculation of sprinkler systems from concept to working drawings.
Essential that you are fully conversant with AutoCAD and possess a solid knowledge of the MS Office suite.
You will be required to undertake short visits to various clients’ sites within the UK.
About the Candidate:
You will possess excellent communication skills.
Self-motivation
Ability to work as a key player as part of our design team.
The ideal candidate will have relevant Industry qualifications
Must have had more than 5 years in the industry
Be willing to travel on occasion
Ideally based within 40 miles of the Hertfordshire office
