Senior Single Ply Estimator Job - Industrial Roofing Vacancies
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Estimator within a Roofing & Cladding sub-contractor based in the South East
About the Client:
Our client is a well-established Roofing & Cladding sub-contractor who is continually looking to expand their business. Due to a busy order book they are looking for a Senior Single Ply Estimator to join their organisation. They have a reputable name in the South East and enjoy the benefit of repeat business from existing clients as well as expanding their client base continuously
About the Role:
Review and report on the clients’ enquiries to enable a decision to be made on their bid
Prepare accurate cost estimates for the indirect resources required to carry out works in accordance with the agreed programme and engineering requirements
Present the prepared tender documents to Managing Director
Ensure that the best possible and most market competitive prices are submitted in all instances
Attend meetings off-site with the Commercial team when required
About the Candidate:
Minimum of five to ten years experience in an Estimating role within Single Ply
Ability to read and understand tender documents, specifications, drawings and Terms & Conditions
Proactive and committed attitude at all times
Lead by example, demonstrate trust in the team and portray expertise in the role
Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Some Contract Management experience would also be required
