An experienced Quantity Surveyor required for leading Demolition Contractor based in the North West
About the Client:
Our client has been established for over 15 years and has a turnover in excess of £5 Million. They are based in the North West and have projects nationwide. They are renowned for their quality and ability to work to tight schedules. They are currently looking to fill a Quantity Surveyor position that has become available due to expansion and full order books. A QS with a main contractor background would be welcome.
About the Role:
Delivering projects on time and to the standards of the company and its clients.
Representing the company by being a key contact for clients.
Working both independently and as part of a team.
Providing astute cost management advice, financial reporting as well as negotiating.
Cost planning at all stages of design, interim valuations, managing change control and final accounts.
Participate in presentations and meetings when required, plus contribute to proposal documentation and team business plans
About the Candidate:
Must have a Quantity Surveying background with either Demolition or Main Contractor experience (Demolition Knowledge Essential)
Able to work confidently as an individual and as part of a team.
Demonstrate an aptitude for taking responsibility for delivering projects on time and to expected standards.
A confident and good communicator with the social skills to motivate a diverse project team and interact with stakeholders at all levels
