About the Client:
Our client is well known M&E Contractor. The type of projects they are involved in range across the commercial sector from Schools, Hospitals and Commercial projects. Project values can range from small works to over £5m and they have an enviable reputation for producing high quality installations to program and budget.
About the Role:
You must have a full HVAC Mechanical Design background and can handle projects unaided from either a drawing production point of view or supervision of sub contract designers.
Plan working methods and set individual member objectives, appraising and offering constructive feedback as required.
Strong client liaison and communication skills are key parts of the role
Generating cost effective solutions to client needs
Proficient understand of CAD drawings and systems
Must be able to work calculation for the installation of gas boilers, ductwork, piping, and ventilation
Working with Main Contractors within the thriving Commercial Sector across the North West
About the Candidate:
Carry out Mechanical Design calculations via computer packages
Communicate design on to a drawing, single line for CAD by others
Co-Ordinate other building services within a building and alter drawings accordingly
Follow QA procedures and liase with bid teams, and other design department members
Mechanical biased with either experience from the tools or carrying out a similar role for a minimum of 5 years
You could have worked for either a Consultancy or Contractor
