Senior Estimator Job - Curtain Walling Vacancies

A multi-million pound turnover Curtain Walling sub-contractor requires a Senior Estimator to join their well-established, growing organisation

Our client has shown steady growth over the last ten years and cemented itself as a reputable medium sized Curtain Walling sub-contractor. They have an enviable reputation for exceeding their clients’ needs and pride themselves on their ability consistently secure repeat business. They can offer a wide range of products including curtain wall, windows, doors, structural glazing, atria glazing and cladding across a full range of sectors.

•Review and report on the clients’ enquiries to enable a decision to be made on their bid
•Prepare accurate cost estimates for the indirect resources required to carry out works in accordance with the agreed programme and engineering requirements
•Present the prepared tender documents to Estimating Manager
•Ensure that the best possible and most market competitive prices are submitted in all instances
•Attend meetings off-site with the Commercial team when required

•Minimum of ten years experience in an Estimating role within Curtain Walling
•Fully conversant with Schuco products
•Ability to read and understand tender documents, specifications, drawings and Terms & Conditions •Proactive and committed attitude at all times
•Lead by example, demonstrate trust in the team and portray expertise in the role
•Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
