Senior Estimator Job - Industrial Roofing Vacancies

A well established company in the Industrial Roofing sector requires a Senior Estimator due to their continued growth.

Our client has a full order book until March next year. They are a highly regarded Industrial Roofing sub-contractor who carry out projects across the Industrial & Commercial sectors, including Schools, Hospitals & Large Warehouses and Industrial units. They use a wide variety of roofing products & systems including, Rainscreen Cladding, Standing Seam, Kingspan & Speed Deck.

• Review and report on the clients’ enquiries to enable a decision to be made on their bid • Prepare accurate cost estimates for the indirect resources required to carry out works in accordance with the agreed programme and engineering requirements • Present the prepared tender documents to Commercial Manager • Ensure that the best possible and most market competitive prices are submitted in all instances • Attend meetings off-site with the Commercial team when required

• Minimum of ten years experience in an Estimating role within Industrial Roofing • Knowledge of products such as Kingspan, Speed Deck, Rainscreen Cladding, and standing seam systems • Ability to read and understand tender documents, specifications, drawings and Terms & Conditions • Proactive and committed attitude at all times • Lead by example, demonstrate trust in the team and portray expertise in the role • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
