Our Client is a leading contractor in the steel industry and are looking to source a Senior Estimator for their West Midands office.
Our client is a well established and respected Structural Steel contractor based in the West Midlands. They have been established for over 15 years and have a multi million turnover. Projects go up to the value of £10million and are for a broad range of sectors such as the education, health and commercial sectors. They are currently looking to source a Senior Estimator to join as an addition to their expansion plans.
- Help to plan and program the Estimating Department resources and liaise with the departments staff
- Monitor, maintain, update and develop the the Company's standard estimating data in conjunction with the technical coordinator.
- Arrange CPD talks by external Suppliers
- Liase with the Sales Director as required to ensure that work is prioritised correctly, including the attendance at bib/no bid and planning meetings.
- Must have at least 5 years estimating experience within the Steel Industry
- Must be at a Senior Level
- Must be confident of dealing with tenders up to the value of £10 Million
- Must have a good working attitude and communication skills
