An excellent opportunity has arisen in a successful North London based Mechanical Contractor for an Experienced Mechanical Estimator.
About the Client:
Our client has, for a considerable amount of time, lead progress in the M&E industry within London, gaining a well-deserved reputation as a contractor focused on quality, delivery and best practice in the fit-out sector. Our client has an excellent team of site operatives that operate from its headquarters in North-West London. Their clients range from large fit-out contractors to interiors companies and generally all projects are within the M25. The turnover of the company is 10 million and the average project sizes are up to 1 million.
About the Role:
To ensure accurate and timely take-offs from tender enquires.
Will be expected to meet strict deadlines for turnaround on enquires.
Obtaining competitive quotations.
Experience of electronic estimating packages using Estimation.
Involvement in internal and external meetings.
Strong team playing skills.
Experience in tendering on jobs up to a value of £1m in the fit-out sector.
About the Candidate:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a proven Mechanical Estimator in an M&E company, preferably in the M25 region.
Good mechanical building services knowledge and experience.
Good electrical knowledge gained from a trade background and site experience working together with both the M&E trades is not essential; however, is preferred.
Proven experience in precise take-offs of mechanical drawings and the ability to identify the electrical elements of say panel quotes and pass these to the admin team.
Based within 30 miles and able to commute to North London/Wembley region.
