We are currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Building Services Contracts Manager. A substantial basic salary and full benefits package for the right candidate is available.
About the Client:
Our client has a long-established client base of main contractors and is looking to appoint a Senior Mechanical Contracts Manager to manage important projects. The Manager will join an established M&E delivery team and embrace the company’s team-working culture. They are currently turning over in excess of 17 million and work on projects as diverse as high-end residential properties to leading hospitals and Universities. Our client is an established London-based M&E contractor with excellent connections in the M&E contracting Industry.
About the Role:
Will be managing a variety of mechanical contracts, with values up to 5 million: hospitals, schools, Universities, and high-end residential.
Will be expected to deliver a project, within the financial specifications, from inception to handover to client.
Expected to lead a team of on-site engineers and the support services, such as the QSs and CAD team, based in the office.
Will be expected to work closely with the client and the client’s professional team and demonstrate excellent people skills and a team-working ethos.
About the Candidate:
Able to demonstrate 10-years contracts management experience with an established M&E or Mechanical building services contractor.
It is important to understand that our client has a particular working relationship with its clients and insists that its managers adopt a collaborative working approach with them.
This concept extends to the idea that both the contractor and the client understand that problems are shared and solutions are approached in a team-working spirit where dialogue is constructive and focused on resolution of joint issues for the benefit of the delivery of the project and long-term relationships.
Our client is awarded many of its key projects through the relationships it builds, and the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate how they have fostered relationships with main contractors and clients’ professional teams in the past.
A legacy of established successful relationships in the sub-contracting industry and main contracting industry is essential and any offer is subject to satisfactory references.
It is critical for our client to find the right personality fit for this role, as outstanding engineering knowledge and an excellent team-working attitude is the key for the successful adoption of the company’s working practices.
