Our client, a small-medium sized freight forwarder, is looking for an experienced business developer who will sell multi-modal freight services and focus on niche market development.
This company has been trading for more than two decades and in that time has established itself as a reliable and dynamic logistics partner. With offices up and down the UK as well as in North America and Oceania, they have a solid foundation upon which to handle forwarding services to all major trade routes. While traditionally they have been a company focused on air and sea freight, they have pushed recently to develop their capacity to provide intra-modal services into Europe as well as warehousing and packaging services.
They recently embarked on a 4-year plan for growth in which they are looking to develop particular markets in addition to re-vamping their sales and marketing scheme. They are in a position to aim for growth because of their strong ability to retain business and foster client relationships. And this is an ethos they are determined to preserve into the future.
