My client are the UK arm of a well-established group that operates on an international level., they focus heavily on selling process and clean water solutions into the municipal markets and to contractors involved in clean water schemes. They are looking to employ a driven sales professional with a strong all round knowledge of, and proven sales track record within, the clean water market.


About the Client:
My client is looking to further strengthen their foot hold within the UK, selling clean water solutions into the municipal markets and to contractors within clean water schemes. They are a very established business that provides a great range of services, including some of the most cutting edge available to their clients. They have an excellent and long established name in the industry and a proactive team genuinely committed to looking after their clients.


About the Role:
  • Approximately 60% of your business will be within the municipal market
  • Working within the wider London and Oxfordshire area you will also have the freedom to develop business in other areas, including internationally
  • There is flexibility on the type of projects that you will work on however solutions range from the relatively standard to large Capital Equipment
  • My client has built strong relationships with its clients, over half a century, by working in partnership. As such there is an emphasis on working with clients beyond the initial sale
  • This will include a level of project management and ‘client ownership’ from sale to completion


About the Candidate:
  • Minimum of 5 years water treatment experience
  • A sales track record in the industry, including experience selling to clients in the municipal market(s) 
  • Ideally degree educated or equivalent experience 
  • It is important to have knowledge of large/high end industry plant & capital equipment
  • You will be able to put large proposals together
  • Ideally you will have some account management or project management experience
  • Relationship builder
  • Team player
  • Committed
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels
