Our client is a medium sized Demolition Contractor who are looking to source a Quantity Surveyor with Estimating experience to join their growing team
About the Client:
Our client has been established for over 20 years and has a turnover in excess of £8 Million. They are based in the Midlands and have projects nationwide. They are renowned for their quality and ability to work to tight schedules. They are currently looking to fill a Quantity Surveyor with Estimating experience position that has become available due to expansion and full order books
About the Role:
Delivering projects on time and to the standards of the company and its clients.
Representing the company by being a key contact for clients.
Working both independently and as part of a team.
Providing astute cost management advice, financial reporting as well as negotiating.
Cost planning at all stages of design, interim valuations, managing change control and final accounts.
Participate in presentations and meetings when required, plus contribute to proposal documentation and team business plan
To take an active part in the Estimating
To run both the Estimating and Quantity Surveying departments
About the Candidate:
Must have a strong background in Quantity Surveying
Must have Estimated in the past
Must have knowledge of the Demolition Industry
Must be prepared to Estimate as well as other duties
Candidates will be considred from a main contracting background as long as they have all of the above
