An outstanding salary package is now being made to both electrical and mechanical building services Quantity Surveyors to take the leading roles on a commercial new-build project, value of M&E works - 15 million; group turnover 200 million. After 80 years of history in the UK our client is going through change, growth and achieving the necessary inroads towards an incredible growth plan of doubling turnover to 400 million. 5 years ago changes were made in order to revitalise this giant of the M&E contracting world. A complete overhaul of management structure was undertaken to come back strong against new starts in the industry. Previously slow pathways to promotion and recognition were changed from time served in the company to promotion and new bonus scheme reflecting commitment, effort and talent. A new regional managing director was brought in to radically change the company in the South East from a top heavy company with a few limiting positions at the top welding all the power to a flatter upper management level. With the restructuring and influential new regional MD the South East quickly experienced a wealth of new ideas and motivations to redevelop and take the lion’s share of this market. With this increase in turnover and new blood in the company the company has seen many of its competitors loss staff, especially due to its highly competitive restructuring of salary and bonus. Two new branches (turnover 50 million) have now been opened in the South East and there is discussion to relocate the head office in central London offering excellent new promotional chances to ambitious M&E professionals.
