Quantity Surveyor for a leading name in the restoration and refurbishment of listed buildings and buildings of historical interest.
n established and leading name in the restoration and refurbishment industry our client is looking to source an experienced Quantity Surveyor. You will take full responsibility on numerous high quality, external refurbishment projects on behalf of their prestigious clients.
Specialising in the following:
Kentish Ragstone, Reigate Stone, Portland Stone, Stone cleaning, Stone repairs, Brick repairs, Stucco Render repair, Building Conservation, Terra Cotta, Steel frame corosion repairs, Faience, Pointing, Stone Restoration, External Refurbishment, Jos Clean, Listed Building repairs, Historic Facades, External Facades, Cathodic Protection & all stonework cleaning and restoration projects.
They have an enviable reputation and have a wealth of experience working on some of the most prestigious buildings in and around the Greater London area.
Post-contract re-measurement Quantity Surveying
Preparing interim valuations
Identifying scope changes
Negotiating variations
Monitoring sub-contractor accounts
Monthly cost / value reconciliations
Monitoring cash collection
Implementing the Construction15990
Assessing extension of time costs
Agreeing final accounts
Contract correspondence
BSc Quantity Surveying, RICS or similar
Current health and safety certificate
CSCS card
General contracting, external refurbishment or specialist external trade contracting
Experience in high quality brickwork or stone masonry
Good organisational skills
Good communication skills
General computer skills
