Our client is looking for an experienced and highly driven Quantity Surveyor to cover the London and South East region ideally with some experience of having worked for a scaffolding contractor.
My client is one of the UK’s leading access, scaffolding and multi service companies. They have worked on some of the most prestigious projects within the petrochemical, power generation, nuclear and railway market sectors just to name a few.
- Liaising with budget holders, reviewing overheads and forecasts
- Enthusiastic and ambitious approach required
- Oversee and ensure all valuations are prepared accurately agreed and invoiced appropriately
- Managing the commercial aspects of various projects incorporating temporary access
- Preparation of area annual budget
- Have a wealth of experience as a Quantity Surveyor gained with main contractors or large sub-contractors
- A high degree of expertise with relevant software packages (MS-Excel, CASE) is required
- Preferably located in the South East
- Effectively communicate with clients to develop relationships and to negotiate and settle contractual and financial disputes
- You will have excellent man management skills
