A top 5 M&E Contractor are looking for a Senior Project Engineer with an mechanical bias to work on a highly prestigious office redevelopment valued at £22M.
My client is one of the largest UK service organisations having extensive experience within the multi services and power system sectors of the mechanical and electrical construction industry. The company's expertise covers mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, building services and related design, engineering, construction, commissioning and specific manufacturing disciplines. They operate on a Nationwide basis and turnover in excess of £300M with the average project size £5-20M.
The Project is for a major blue chip client in Slough. The project is a data centre valued at £22M and is a 12 month project on site. The role is for some one to take the lead role on the mechanical side with a electrical engineer working along side. The ideal person will have experience in commercial office redevelopment projects.
The ideal person will have experience in the following: · Review Mechanical services design highlighting areas requiring early review of the Concept design. · Technically review the equipment selected against the project specification commercially evaluate and raise the appropriate requisition for purchasing. · Assemble Sub-contract packages technically vetting upon return and formulating a recommendation. · Provide engineering solutions/assistance to the Draughting team with the preparation of fully co-ordinated working drawings. · Manage through site based Section and Sub contract supervisors the installation. Reporting to the Project Manager. · Maintain accurate Progress reports together with progressive assembly of Record documentation and Installation drawings
