A top 5 M&E Contractor are looking for a Senior Project Engineer with an electrcial bias to work on a highly prestigious Data Centre project valued at £28M


About the Client:
My client is one of the largest UK service organisations having extensive experience within the multi services and power system sectors of the mechanical and electrical construction industry. The company\'s expertise covers mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, building services and related design, engineering, construction, commissioning and specific manufacturing disciplines. They operate on a Nationwide basis and turnover in excess of £300M with the average project size £5-20M.


About the Role:
The Project is for a major blue chip client in Slough. The project is a data centre valued at £28M and is a 9 month project on site. The role is for some one to take the lead role on the electrical side with a mechanical engineer working along side. The ideal person will have switchgear and data centre experience.


About the Candidate:
The ideal person will have experience in the following: · Control and organise the work of subordinates. Ensure that subordinates conform to the Company procedures. · Assist in the preparation of design and construct tenders. Liaise with client to ensure design intent is met. · Plan, resource and procure all necessary equipment/services for each contract. Following Company procedures at all times and liaising closely with the Buying Department. · Check and ensure programme commitments are fulfilled and produce monthly reports on contract progress. · Ensure standards of installation and- design are in accordance with Quality Assurance procedures, relevant statutory regulations and best working practice.
