Great Opportunity for Programmed Works Co-ordinator
About the Client:
Our client currently has fantastic growth in Commercial and Industrial maintenance and hard services sectors with a £300m turnover. They are now looking to acquire a Programmed Works Co-ordinator to run maintenance programmes from their Kings Lynn base. The company are currently looking for a PW Co-ordinator to help drive their thriving business to new heights and help the organisation achieve their growth targets for 2009 and in to the future.
About the Role:
Ensure works are programmed and executed by the client and supply chain staff.
Co-ordinate works program with maintenance team.
Ensure ROC (Rough Order of Cost)are prepared to the clients satisfaction.
Assist and advise REFM in the creation of the FMR.
Ensure works carried out in accordance with specification and order.
Act of Works Supervisor where required.
Ensure materials are delivered, stored, handled and issued safely.
Ensure adherence to all legislation regarding Health & Safety and Security.
Carry out technical audits at random frequencies.
Inspection & liaison.
Inspect all engineering aspects of maintenance or new works e.g. Electrical, mechanical, etc.
Liaise with PPM Supervisor for planned maintenance inspections, Maintenance Co-ordinator & Quantity Surveyor for commercial aspects.
Design & Specification
Undertake minor outline design work of a basic nature not requiring design calculations etc.
Undertake works specification
Adherence to Company Quality Standards.
Works to be carried out to the Quality Procedures Manual.
Inspection of works stages as completed.
Final inspection of completed works before passing over to REFM
Health & Safety
Ensure all works comply with Turner FM "Rules and Conditions" regarding, Health, Safety & Environment.
Liaise with Health & Safety Manager as per Manager's QHSE responsibilities
About the Candidate:
The client is looking for forward thinking individuals, who will work with team members to achieve corporate goals and targets.
The job holder should be able to demonstrate the key skills required for the position and hold a relevant qualification such as - ONC/HNC and OR City & Guilds. Customer and delivery focus is an essential requirement for the position; applicants ideally should have previous experience of working within MOD Environment.
