We are currently recruiting for an intermediate experienced Mechanical Building Services Estimator. This is an excellent opportunity for growth and progression in a leading Surrey-based M&E Contractor.
About the Client:
Our client has a long established Estimating Department and is looking to appoint an Intermediate Mechanical Estimator. The Estimator will join an established M&E team and look to develop in Estimating ability, whilst learning the established methods of estimating with this contractor. Our client currently uses the ‘Estimation’ software. They are currently turning over in excess of 20 million and work in projects as diverse as high-end residential to leading hospitals and Universities. Our client is an established M&E contractor with excellent connections in the M&E contracting Industry in the South East.
About the Role:
Will be tendering on a variety of contracts up to 5 million, for instance, hospitals, schools, Universities, and high-end residential.
Will be making heavy use of Excel and ‘Estimation’ in pricing tenders.
Will be attending site visits and liaising with the client and the client team.
Will be working as part of an established Estimating Team.
About the Candidate:
Must have at least 5 years Mechanical Estimating experience.
Must be able to use both Estimating Software, such as ‘Estimation,’ and Excel.
Must be ideally located within 30 minutes of Croydon.
Must have a strong background of work experience in M&E Contractors and a history of site experience.
Able to read and interpret CAD drawings and understand design concepts in Mechanical building services.
