Our client is currently looking to recruit a Mechanical Design Manager for its 100 million pound turnover business. The Design Manager will report directly to the board assuming all responsibility the design element for design and build projects undertaken
Our client turns over in excess of 100 million. The average size of their projects can be in excess of 5 million; however, typically, the projects range from 1-5 million. An established contractor, they have a reputation for timely delivery and quality for the projects they commit to.
•Responsible for the productivity and quality of the Design Team
•Managing the design team, including senior and intermediate Design Engineers
•Reporting to Directors
•To liaise with clients and consultant to establish and realise design and build projects
•Ideally with a background as a chartered Design Engineer (C Eng) in Mechanical Building Services •Working previously for contracts that turnover in excess of 54 million to ensure familiarity with the size of projects our client undertakes
•Comprehensive experience of working for a contractor undertaking projects in excess of 5 million
•Locally based within the areas of Stirling, Edinburgh or Glasgow
•Excellent office environment
