About the Client:

Our client currently has fantastic growth in the Industrial sector with a current turnover of £11,000,000. They are now looking to acquire a mechanical design engineer to join their thriving business. The company are currently looking for an engineer with a office based project management skill and a design side, to join a winning team and help the organisation achieve their growth targets for 2009 and in the future.

About the Role:

Carry out Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) surveys
Prepare quotations in response to client enquiries
Co-ordinate and plan HVAC projects for onshore and offshore clients from conceptual design through to close out
Carry out detailed design, calculations and drawings
Carry out regular design and project reviews
Create specifications and order materials and equipment
Analyse and evaluate quotations
Control project costs
Liaise with the Client and suppliers
Maintain project files and produce document packs

About the Candidate:

Minimum of 2 years experience
Experience within the Marine sector advantageous
Good indepth knowledge of the mechanical function
Confident communicator across all levels of the business
Must be able to generate new business and have a portfolio of industry contacts
Computer literate
Client liaison skills
Tendering abilities essential
