Our client is an established M&E projects and maintenance company. Due to their success in securing several new contracts they have a need for an M&E-Maintenance Contracts Manager.


About the Client:
Our client currently has strong growth in Commercial and Industrial maintenance and hard services sectors with a multi-million pound turnover. They are now looking to acquire a Contracts Manager to run various commercial contracts. The company are currently looking for an M&E Contracts Manager to help drive their thriving business to new heights and help the organisation achieve their growth targets for 2010 and into the future.


About the Role:
  • To work in partnership with the clients to exceed operational and business expectations. Overall responsibility for management and motivation off full time staff and contractors.
  • Liaise and develop relationships with the client's representatives and resident groups
  • Monitor the performance of the contract and ensure that Key Performance Indicators are achieved.
  • Manage resources to ensure efficiency and contractual obligations are maintained
  • Monitor progress of the contract to ensure the completed works are correct and to the agreed specification standard
  • Monitor quality, safety and environment and promote a safety culture within the business unit.


About the Candidate:
  • Must have in depth M&E background with M&E Contractors.
  • Excellent knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services.
  • Understanding of all principles within contract management.
  • Must have worked on Maintenance contracts with a value of £500k or over.
  • Prioritise a changing schedule.
  • Strong management skills and the ability to motivate a team at all levels.
  • Sales experience advantageous.
  • Ability to be innovative and creative to resolve complex problems.
  • Knowledge of building maintenance and repair.
