Our client are a major player with the Facilities Management industry and due to continued expansion are looking for an experienced M&E Bid Manager.

About the Role:
To secure profitable, new. M&E business for the organisation
To ensure tenders (bids) are submitted in line with the organisations brand standards
To carry out all activities relating to the costing of a solution including but not limited to labour loading, subcontractor liaison, regime development, writing, producing and develop M&E service bids to generate new business against targets as well as working towards the overall goals of the organisation
To ensure that all tenders submitted on behalf of the organisation are based on a proper assessment of potential risk and liability, including a review of the contractual terms that will apply if the contract is awarded
To represent the organisation as required on presentations to prospective clients
To ensure the correct follow-up of submitted tenders to determine our competitive position.
To gather intelligence on competitors and communicate as and when identified
To undertake site surveys as and when necessary in order to collect all relevant information to assist you in costing the submission.
To manage and develop estimating skills throughout the business
To actively seek innovative pricing solutions
About the Candidate:
Management skills - in particular the capability to ensure work requirements are completed in a timely and compliant manner
Hard Services sector knowledge is essential
Writing skills (bid writing)
A proven track record of bid management experience:
Association of Proposal Management Professional is Qualification is desirable.)
Capable of achieving a high quality standard of bid submission
Competent in numeracy - including the capability to calculate accurately and challenge pricing
Experience finding solutions using spreadsheets and modelling solutions.
