Our client requires a installation manager to manage a new domestic heating department dedicated to the domestic market.
About the Client:
They have an established reputation for delivery and quality with their long-standing clients. Our client is extremely experienced in heating installation projects. A large part of our client’s business is domestic heating; they currently work for Local Authorities and Housing Associations but will soon be introducing a Domestic section to cover the private market. This position will be responsible for managing the new department.
About the Role:
Assisting in the set up of the department.
When our client commences this the candidate will need to have the skills to visit the home owner to sell the system, carry out a survey of the property, prepare sketch drawing, heat loss, calculate boiler, radiator sizes etc.
Submit quotations to their client.
Should the quotation be accepted then the successful candidate will have to arrange plant, materials and labour and supervise the works and demonstrate the system to their client.
When the department is up and running with enough enquiries and installations then their duties would be purely management as staff would be added to sell, design and supervise the works.
About the Candidate:
Must have in excess of 10 years of Domestic Heating Experience.
Excellent knowledge of domestic heating systems and boilers.
Experience of surveying heating systems and producing quotes for clients from 1.5 to 10K.
Excellent experience of Estimating and Sales in Domestic Heating in the commercial market up to 10K
