A well established Industrial Roofing & Cladding sub contractor requires an Estimator / Contracts Manager due to their high enquiry levels and busy order book
About the Client:
Our client is a medium sized Roofing & Cladding sub contractor backed by a multi-million pound organisation. They have a very strong order book and are looking to expand the business. They carry out contracts for a wide range of clients, mainly in the commercial sector for some of the UK's main building contractors. They are capable of completing both New Build and Refurbishment works surpassing client's expectations time and time again.
About the Role:
Review and report on the clients’ enquiries to enable a decision to be made on their bid
Prepare accurate cost estimates for the indirect resources required to carry out works in accordance with the agreed programme and engineering requirements
Present the prepared tender documents to Estimating Manager
Manage the design, procurement and all other aspects of a contract ensuring it is on time and within budget
Report to the Branch Manager on all contracts under your control
About the Candidate:
Must have a minimum of five years experience in an Estimating / Contract Management role
Ability to read and understand tender documents, specifications & drawings
Proactive and committed attitude at all times
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Good career stability and loyalty
