An outstanding salary package is now on offer for both a Mechanical and Electrical Estimator to join the Oxfordshire office of a major M&E Contractor; Group turnover of work secured for the Oxfordshire office – 45 million. Our client is riding on the wave of two shrewd acquisitions launching it to pole-position in the race for the most prestigious M&E contracts in the Southwest and London. After taking on a huge London presence overnight our client is now looking to develop and consolidate the huge network of contracts acquired through this shrewd purchase. Immediate signs of success have been recorded in the increase over the last few months in turnover, partnered to excellent return on this growth in net profits, and a high retention of the staff joining the company via the buyout. On acquiring what amounts to a doubling of turnover, The MD was advised to make redundancies and to look for cost saving measures to steady the ship. However, against this advice the decision was taken to go out and win new work, build on and develop existing business relationships, and provide the work to sustain all the existing employees with no forced redundancies. This positive attitude to the people that make the company what it is has generated excellent loyalty and retained what is the asset of any building services company its talented employees. The company is enjoying around 7% profit on jobs overall and this will give the employees a welcome bonus for the year-end.
